How the Vita Carbon Offset Plan Works
€40 will provide a family with a fuel efficient stove plus the Moringa tree seedlings that they’ll need for the future.
Through the efficiency of the stoves and the carbon captured by the planted trees, this €40 will offset the equivalent of 5.5 tonnes of CO2 emissions.
€80 will provide two families with a fuel efficient stove and Moringa seedlings and will offset 11 tonnes of CO2 emissions.
The average person in Ireland has an annual carbon footprint of 11 tonnes.
€80 or a standard monthly donation of €7 offsets the average person’s annual carbon footprint.
