Trees for Life is a novel approach to honour life’s many occasions whereby an oak tree is planted in Marlay Park, Dublin for you or a loved one. The trees are planted as gifts for birthdays, weddings, christenings, anniversaries, communions, confirmations as well as Christmas presents. Trees may also be planted to celebrate the arrival of a newborn or in memory of a loved one.
For €100, an Oak Tree will be planted in the recipients name in Marlay Park in Dublin and a personalised gift card can be sent detailing this.
For every oak tree planted in Marlay Park, the funds can be used to plant up to 90 Moringa trees in Eritrea or Ethiopia thereby having a meaningful and lasting impact on many families struggling to cope with starvation.
Unfortunately due to circumstances out of our control we can no longer guarantee that the tree bought or any previous trees sold will be individually numbered as originally thought. We are very sorry for this inconvenience. If you wish to discuss a tree that was previously sold please call Vita on 01 8820108 and we will deal with your query.

The Moringa or Miracle Tree is one of the keys to ending hunger and malnutrition in many parts of the world affected by poverty, drought, disease and starvation. It is widely hailed as the world’s most useful tree.
Every single part of it can be used for fuel, food and medicine. The ownership of one of these trees really can make an enormous difference to a family’s livelihood.
It is fast growing and grows best in arid conditions, making it ideal for mass planting to stave off encroachment by blowing desert sands. It can also be grown as a living fence, helping to prevent overgrazing cattle and other animals.
