You could recruit as many of your colleagues as you can for this fundraising idea. In fact, the more who take part, the more fun it will be and by asking your students to sponsor you €2 to dress up for the day, the more you could raise for Vita's Buy A Miracle Tree Campaign.
2. Tidy a Garden/Recycle
Encourage your students to take part in a sponsored tidy up of your school garden/playground or local park Or encourage them to re-cycle their everyday waste either in school and/or at home for a week and involve as many people as possible.
3. The ‘No Uniform’ Day
This idea could prove to be very popular with every student in your school! All you need to do is make a school announcement of your chosen day and give all students the option of not wearing their uniform – for a price. Each student could give €2 each and then receive a sticker on the day to say they are taking part.
4. Sports Day/School Disco
Organise a sports day or school disco, charge a few euro for each child to enter and donate the proceeds. You could even spice it up with spot prizes or a karaoke sing-a-long.
5. Spelling Bee / Maths Bee / Flag Bee...
Use the campaign to test your students and raise money at the same time! The students could be sponsored for the number of country flags of the world they can get guess correctly. Younger students could get sponsorship for every word they spell correctly in a spelling test. Or math’s geniuses for every algebra problem they solve – or theorem they prove correctly. | | |
