Irish development agency Vita has launched its Christmas appeal urging the public to support its ongoing work to reduce poverty and improve the environment in Africa.
This year Vita is highlighting how a €40 donation can help buy a specially designed fuel efficient stove that will improve life for families in Africa and also contribute to a better environment.
Vita’s development projects are focused on reducing poverty and renewing the environment in Ethiopia, Eritrea and Kenya. Vita does this by building energy efficient stoves, planting edible ‘miracle’ moringa trees and irrigating land to produce local crops.
To support Vita’s work you can call 1850 30 80 90, or log on to www.vita.ie.
About Vita Vita is an Irish international development agency established in 1989. Its mission is to enable poor and marginalised communities in Ethiopia, Eritrea and Kenya to improve their livelihoods in ways which are innovative, appropriate and environmentally sustainable, while respecting the human rights and dignity of all.
