Building Sustainable Livelihoods
Leaving a Gift to Vita

Online Secure Facility
Leaving a gift to Vita in your will, helps us continue working with poor and marginalised people in Africa to combat poverty and build sustainable livelihoods.

If you would like to consider Vita in your will there are several choices you can make:

A Residuary Legacy is the gift of the residue of your estate, or a share of the residue, after other bequests to your family and friends have been made and all debts, taxes and expenses have been paid.

A Pecuniary Legacy is a specified sum of money, determined when the will or codicil is written.

A Specific Legacy is when a particular item of value is bequeathed. This can include stocks and shares, proceeds of a life assurance policy, property, furniture or jewellery, artwork and other valuables.

A Codicil - even if you have already made a will and you would like to leave a gift to Vita, you can ask your solicitor to add a codicil (addition) to the original will.

Legacies to charity are exempt from tax. So by leaving a gift, you could reduce the amount of tax payable on your estate.
