Vita is providing trees for life, not just the 12 days of Christmas | | | | | | | | | | A Christmas Message | | | Christmas is a special time for families. It is a time for giving. Mother Teresa, our Founding Patron, understood the power of giving and dedicated her life to helping people in immediate need; helping them to become self-sufficient. She also encouraged our Founder, Fr Kevin Doheny CSSp, to do the same.
Over the years, Vita has continued this legacy by supporting vulnerable families in the Horn of Africa. At a time when we are all buying festive trees and food, many families in Ethiopia and Eritrea are blighted by hunger and failed harvests. You can help them by providing the gift of life-giving ‘Miracle’ Moringa trees that will help them to feed their families.
| | | | About the Miracle Moringa Tree | | | The Moringa tree is called ‘Miracle Tree’ in many languages because of its numerous, valuable uses. There is an old saying “Moringa leaves prevent 300 diseases”. Now, modern science is proving that these tiny leaves are packed with incredible nutrition that can strengthen our bodies and prevent many diseases. It is like growing multi-vitamins at your doorstep and the benefits include;
• twice the amount of protein as yoghurt,
• four times more calcium than milk,
• seven times more vitamins than oranges,
